Navigate uncertainty with strength.
Expert support for individuals facing cancer, chronic illness, and life transitions.
Meet Alison.
Alison Petok (she/her) has spent her entire career working in oncology and chronic illness, and she is well-versed in navigating the medical system. She practices from a strengths-based perspective and will bear witness to and hold space for your lived experiences. She will support you and your loved ones through adjustment, transitions, loss, grief, and survivorship, as well as coping with uncertainty.
In addition to working with those facing cancer and chronic illness, Alison enjoys working with individuals who are navigating the challenges of the perinatal and postpartum period, and is especially passionate about the intersections of cancer or chronic illness with fertility, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and parenting.
Alison received her Master’s in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She has worked in various hospital based and outpatient settings, including Massachusetts General Hospital, the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University and Fox Chase Cancer Center. She established her private practice in 2020.
